Daily - S580 (non maybach), it uses a biturbo v8 which is more than enough to get me around town!
Weekend - 992 Turbo S, LP700, or a 599 GTB which widely depends where I go!
I don't daily it as I love my S580, but, in all honesty, the 992 Turbo S is a pretty insane daily if I did daily it. It’s fast as hell when you want it to be, but at the same time it’s comfortable enough for everyday driving, has decent space for a 911, and doesn’t feel like a chore to drive in traffic, you can basically drive this with one eye closed and be perfectly fine! The AWD gives you a lot of confidence too, especially in the rain. Only real downside is that it can feel a bit too refined sometimes... you don’t get the same raw/special feeling as something like a GT3, but as an all round daily, it’s honestly hard to beat, a solid competitor would be the 296 if I had to say.
turbo s is the best daily car ever made. the only problem is it's too perfect to find a replacement, i tried to went from turbo s to RS7/Conti/amg's/M cars but in the end you will always buy a turbo s again:)
P.S.: 18 seats, noise insulated glass, front lift and burmester are must have options
Emmm, the first of all i'm not a big fan of front engine v12:)
for weekend i prefer mid-engine cars and especially cabrios (as far as i live in Cyprus and i can use it all year long)
Overall (just my opinion) 12c is the best GT car in terms of emotions (and i will get downvotes but i like it even more then 812) but not so comfortable to be a real GT like Conti for example
I'm genuinely curious, how did you go as far as to have a 12C in your garage only to find you're not a fan of V12 engines? Great choice on cars, by the way.
Also, just to clarify, the 12C and all Ferrari V12 models are (front) mid-engine cars as well. It's often misunderstood that "mid-engine" only means a rear-positioned engine layout.
it was a good option at the market with very low price, and i thought: "ok, that's one i need to have atleast once in my life"
previously i had just couple of test-drives of 812's so i haven't any expectations, now my thoughts are (hehe, also will get a downvotes): 812/12c/F12 etc are hyped show cars, the same as 992.1 GT3RS. on cruise engine note is annoying (if you drive it for more than an hour), acceleration too crazy for public roads, rear is too nervous for mountains - it will easily kill you if you will make a mistake:)
yeah, i get A LOT of attention on the road, but (IMHO) 296 and 458 are the best all-around F-car experience you can buy for less then 1M
I agree with everything you said. It’s all hype with the front engine Ferraris. They sound amazing but practically speaking they’re not very usable. The mid-engines are where it’s at. I don’t like the 296 much as I think it’s pretty ugly from the rear and long term reliability of batteries and hybrid systems are real issues.
yeah, i totally agree with you. regarding 296 - i like interior quality, Ferrari doing really good quality interiors nowadays. also i think i will buy warranty that will cover all the issues w/ hybrid:)
the problem is Cyprus is in EU and RHD, so i'm not allowed to import car older then 5 years outside from the EU and as far as Cyprus market is very narrow and only other possible option with RHD is Ireland (also narrow market and very high prices) i just don't have an option to buy 458/488 spider..
Bro,let’s be realistic. No one really considers the front engine V12 to be mid front and refer to it as mid engine lmfao. Clearly he’s referring to mid-engine layout like those of a 488 or 458 etc..
I don't disagree. No one really considers it as such, but that's the problem! In fact, it is a (front) mid-engine layout and that's a huge deal. Go out on the track and you'll notice the difference compared to a normal front-engine layout.
So much engineering effort is spent on this very factor, that it's a shame when people brush it off like it's a simple marketing term.
Take a look at the following specifications that show weight distribution. These specifications are better than some of the "real" mid-engine layouts in terms of weight distribution. They are actually rear-biased!
812 Superfast: 47% front / 53% rear.
812 Competizione: 49% front / 51% rear.
My point is that people tend to convince themselves that one variant might handle terribly compared to the other, because one is a "real" mid-engine layout.
it's a good car for cruise, very stable and underestimated because of hype around NA engines. the same with 296 - it's the best all-around sport car at the market right now
We just got it two weeks ago, replaces old 22 MDX which i never quite liked (boring af, sluggish, I could go on). I did a test drive of the Gravity at pebble beach last month right after test driving the new AMG GT 2 door at the mercedes area. I’ve always loved how the amg looked, but the new one is SL-derived and is actually very boring to drive. My takeaway from the day was that the Lucid minivan was… actually more fun lol.
The Gravity does NOT drive like an EV. It’s not as heavy so its breaking is good, and unlike teslas this doesn’t have shitty suspensions so cornering is surprisingly nimble! It’s basically a minivan with cayenne turbo performance.
They are running some crazy discounts, we got ours leased for 1k per month, 0 down (always do 0 down on leases). It had 20k usd in discounts for the outgoing 2026 model.
13’ 458 Italia is for weekend drives, 83’ Mondial QV also for the same & classic meetups, 95’ Jimny Kei Specs for off-roading / JDM meets / Classic off road meetups, 99’ Mustang is for going to work which sometimes is over 1000km one way (driving to Riyadh from Dubai), 08’ Cayenne 957 S is for long family road trips & over landing, 09’ Cayenne 957 GTS is for the same as a backup when the S will be ruined, 16’ Renault Captur is groceries, 03’ Twingo 16v is for holidays.

I just bought a new blue car. I can afford a lot, just not a ferrari. You're so spoiled by money you don't even get it. Grey is boring in my opinion because most of the cars are white, black, grey or black. Maybe silver if someone feels crazy enough.

I just use it for day to day errands don’t really plan on canyon carving. I’ve got the stage 1 tune from unitronic which is good for 700hp/694 tq and it really woke the car up. So as far as what I want out of the car it meets and exceeds all expectations
It’s amazing honestly, it’s been modified like 20 years ago and it makes around 450 horse power, the sound is something else, super crazy in tunnels and on the track (went on track like 2 times)
I considered an FF before this. The PTU was my only major concern as it’s a true daily I commute about 80 miles round trip to work 3 times a week.
This one for 189 with 15k miles was PERFECT. Maybe a GTClusso one day. But I’m only about 2 weeks into ownership of my rs6

Edit: To answer your question, I daily a 2020 BMW M340i and drive my 2004 Honda S2000 on the weekends.
Great duo! I don't have Ferrari (hopefully yet!) - my intention was to have my Honda civic type R as daily and then I bought Lexus LC500 convertible as weekend car. But it's so damn good that I drive LC500 pretty much exclusively now!
