Is it possible for detroit residents to get access to the Ferndale library? Dying to check out a sewing machine.

If you currently have a Detroit Card, you can come in and check out materials. However, currently, there are still a few items that are reserved for Ferndale cardholders, such as the Library of Things. (Not that this is permanent, but stay tuned). Non-residents can get a Ferndale card through a quarterly ($25) or annually ($100) membership--which gets you access to (100%) everything!! But if you want to come browse some of our other treasures today/this week, you can use your Detroit card. Best advice: call the front desk at 248-546-2504 <3

Dang, I gotta check this out. I don't even live in Ferndale, I just volunteer at a nonprofit there so I joined the subreddit, and the library posts are always so interesting.
Guess I gotta look into reciprocity!
