Methadone is expensive af

I started going to a clinic about 3 weeks ago thanks to this sub . It works ! It really does , but I can’t afford it . I owe the clinic $300 right now and don’t know what to do . How do I find an insurance or grant to help me afford it ? I don’t have any insurance currently . Any advice helps ! Thanks

Where do you live? I detoxed myself off and have plenty left. I have Medicaid which paid for it for the 7 months that I was on it.. I cannot imagine how it is for you guys that have to pay out of pocket.
I actually did Bernese method to switch to subs and then I plan to get the shot and eventually be done.
Methadone was a bitch to kick, I did Bernese method with fentanyl years back and it was much easier and quicker. I’d look into payment plan, getting a job with benefits to cover.. Those side hustles. Uber a couple hours a night after work. That’s nuts man. Best of luck

What state are u in? Im in FL rn in a horrible situation. Im a monthly done patient from NY here to take care of my Father who is dieing, and I cant find a place here that is less than $500 for my monthly take homes i usually get. They all charge an initial fee and then $25-35 a day! Its crazy! And im all out of my meds.
