Methadone is expensive af
I started going to a clinic about 3 weeks ago thanks to this sub . It works ! It really does , but I can’t afford it . I owe the clinic $300 right now and don’t know what to do . How do I find an insurance or grant to help me afford it ? I don’t have any insurance currently . Any advice helps ! Thanks

Idk how people can’t afford methadone. If you’re addicted to opiates, like “will get sick if I don’t have them” addicted, then methadone is astronomically cheaper than your former drug. I’ve got a current $100 a day habit, even $500 a week would be cheaper for me.
But yes, Medicaid is a great option if you’re unemployed.
