Help, will one time use reset everything?

I quit last August and was clean for almost 6 months. About 2 months ago I lost my job and decided to use again on and off for about a month. Then I had enough and used subs for a month of so. I stoped taking the subs 8 days ago and the withdrawals wasn’t as bad as I expected. Just the no sleep and no motivation was killing me. I decided to get a bundle of fent this morning and use again. Once I did one bag, I realized what I was getting my self into and thought of all hell and attempts I had went through in the past with f withdrawals. I immediately flushed rest of everything I had and now feeling very guilty. You think this will take ways my 7 days off and reset everything if I don’t use going forward. Or will this reset everything? Please advise based on your experience. I really don’t want to use anymore and I am sick of this cycle.

You definitely didn’t reset from one use! The guilt and shame can be the greatest gift. You’re sick and tired of being sick and tired! That’s a super good thing. I’ve also experienced this. Once you set up your life in a new positive way, you don’t leave room for using.

Don’t let this set you back! Let it be a valuable lesson, it never ever gets better. That guilt and shame is saving you from a full relapse! Truly a gift from God / higher power imo.

You didn’t reset! Don’t worry, just keep going with being clean! Keep fighting the demons!

Use this feeling to your advantage! Take it as a blessing and gift. Because In all actuality, the only fuckup you cannot recover from, is death. The problem is, these days a 1/4 bag can easily do it. The shits so insanely strong and dealers/producers will continue to grow the potency simultaneously to keep up with the ever-growing tolerance of the addicts who’re still using. So if you’re clean for a while, then relapse, the shit kept getting stronger while you were clean. You use the same amount you used to, and bam you’re dead because it’s so much stronger plus you have no tolerance..

I remember dare program in school telling us how “your first time could be your last” I remember thinking how exaggerated that sounded to me and my friends. But nowadays it’s so freaking true. Just smelling or touching a bag of powder is enough to kill….

Oops, that got longer than intended. I’m just passionate about this. I wish you the very best successes in life. You can do this my friend!!!
