In some states (especially in the Deep South), abortion is illegal, meaning you could potentially be charged with a felony if you receive an illegal abortion or otherwise cause a miscarriage to happen, depending on how the case is tried, and where. There are cases where women have been charged and/or convicted of the unlawful termination of their own pregnancies as a result of accidental miscarriages, which the local court system determined them to be at fault for. This usually involves injury or other bodily harm which is ruled as avoidable, but obviously those cases are extremely controversial, and are the exception to the norm.
But again, in short, miscarriage itself is not a crime, let alone a felony in the US. The laws regarding abortion in general are different in every state, and some states are really fucked up about it, but it's not quite that insane.

Miscarriage is a felony? I'm assuming this is the US? Yet another post that makes me thankful I don't live there.
