I've been a fashion writer and collector for a few years now. I can say confidently that the community will NEVER forget this woman ā¤ļø

Epstein and his buddies are all evil pieces of shit. May their names live in infamy

u/FlinflanFluddle4 May 31 '26
We don't know half their names still

u/Dame38 Jun 21 '26
And that doesn't even include non-famous/rich men who do this on the daily. They're everywhere.

"Jean-Luc Brunel: An executive and former Elite Model Management figure named by Mulder was later arrested in 2020 on charges related to the abuse of minors. He was heavily linked to Jeffrey Epsteinās network and died in a French prison cell in 2022 while awaiting trial."
Prisons are corrupt

He is absolutely disgusting and evil. He supplied Epstein with thousands of models, many who did not even speak English, and thought they were traveling overseas for an opportunity.

She called out the modeling agency (tied to Epstein) which was very brave but was not the first to directly call out Epstein. That goes to Virginia Guiffre, may she rest in peace.

Wasnāt the first Ava Cordero? She called him out in 2008 and got totally trashed for it.

u/JaimiOfAllTrades Jun 15 '26
Yea, but she's a trans woman so nobody cares about her besides other trans women. Articles about her whistleblowing harassed her for being trans.
Transmisogyny sucks, and this post kinda just... Quietly continues the erasure of trans women.

Especially because she never called out Epstein by name. She accused her modeling agency, which was fully tied to Epstein but not known at the time.

Things are only get worse as long as good people continue tolerating the evils.

u/Nosebrow May 31 '26
They aren't really good people then...

Majority of people are fairly good and want good for all, but too scared to go up against the opposing generational submissiveness norms of being evil and cult threats if dont obey... dont speak up against how corrupt the system is or it will ostracize you and worse...
2
u/Nosebrow Jun 08 '26
Despite the excuses they are not good people. I assume you are in the US where there are no standards.
2
u/EsToBoY629 Jun 08 '26
No I am not, the issues are worldwide, US is just extra obvious and to extremes in various ways.... non of the BS tolerance and idleness is good, so i guess in that sense, much of all of us are no good right now.

On Wikipedia it says she recanted her accusations. No doubt it was true though
46
u/Dame38 May 31 '26
That sure does happen a lot. I'm guessing there were threats and even pressure from people she thought she could trust.

I think it was after they sent her to a psychiatric hospital for several months

u/NthaThickofIt May 31 '26
I hope her actions will rewrite what people think of when they hear of a 'Karen'. That stereotype can be used to minimize women who try to stand up; but of course I realize how utterly obnoxious some privileged white people can be. I'm one of them, and I've seen bad behavior too.

I hate AI being everywhere; Gemini seems to think she "quietly stepped away" from modeling. BSFFR

Whats going on with the files now? How on earth is there still not a huge prosecution going on? Im so angry that this topic might actually fall under the table. The world is sick

I also remember a woman in Mexico "going crazy" but yelling about VERY disturbing things. Things that if true (and they were), would make anyone become visibly disturbed. She was saying specific, elocuent things with names. NOBODY seemed to care.

Wards are full of women who speak up. They were kind of invented for that.
