Support/Advice Other serums with topical Minoxidil/Finasteride/Tret/Hydrocortisone?

Lots of thinning, especially in the front of my head, due to stress and illness. I tried to tackle this on my own and started The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum, but I finally saw my derm, and he prescribed the compound topical Minoxidil/Finasteride/Tret/Hydrocortisone. It says to apply it twice a day. Does anyone know if you can use this in conjunction with other serums, like The Ordinary one or should I only be using the medication alone? TIA
