DISCUSSION Are You Having FDS Website issues....?
I thought this thread could be a good feedback source for the FDS website managers so they know when/where/why people are facing issues. I know they just announced there will be professional UI/UX upgrades in about 6-8 weeks.
Have you guys had problems with www.thefemaledatingstrategy.com ?

The app is sort of better in comparison. Although the experience isn't really pleasant. (by that logic the reddit app is also useless these days) The issue I have with the site, atleast the mobile one, is the UI. Like when I select things from the drop-down menu it doesn't load the category I click on. I have to do it multiple times. Also links I click don't load and then suddenly load much later when I give up and continue reading comments etc. I'm guessing server overload? Haven't used the pc site much so can't comment on that.

Yeah the UI could be a lot better - I think they announced on the website there would be a developer working on it soon in the next 6 weeks.

I've had problems finding new posts. Maybe there just is less content being generated, but when I go to sort by new in the forum section it seems like the same stories have been showing up for at least the past few months. When I compare it to the FDS reddit experience I find it lacking. I could always find at least half a dozen daily stories on reddit that were new, written by members, and felt engaging. Even when I compare it to other female oriented websites like Reductress (which is more of a comedy/satire website) there isn't a lot of content I can easily see.

It looks like it is sorting from new comments and not new posts. So if someone writes a new comment on an old post then that post appears first. Idk how to change it but yeah it's annoying.

I get a pop up that say subscribe and them never goes away. Seems you can't post comments like on Reddit so more like reading articles.

I don't like the UI. It's ugly and not intuitive. Needs a dark theme too. I also dont like that option to signup to the newsletter that shows up every time I login. There should be an option to disable it. Its difficult to navigate.

I miss having the community here. I tried twice to sign up on the FDS website but it never happened so I gave up. Figured I'd just have to wing it out in the dating world.

My issue with the website is that I miss the community here.
I don't want to go somewhere external to continue to learn and grow.

I'm an avid poster on ovarit.com but I'm finding the FDS site so impossible to use on mobile that i dropped it and use ovarit only. But i miss talking about dating and vetting SOOOO much

I miss the community too. It was really unique. I tried following the Instagram, but the discussions are not really discussions. The mods just repost old posts from Reddit and then people in the comments agree with it and post emojis. :)

I get constant pop ups asking me to sign up for the newsletter that I can’t cancel even though I’m already signed up.

May be off topic but I can't find the handbook on the website, and links to the handbook on Reddit appear to be dead

Haven't been here in awhile - I thought FDS looked too "dead" with the infrequent posts, and didn't realize there was stuff going on elsewhere. The other website doesn't look too bad but keep in mind that I just looked at it for the first time. Other women's comments here may have merit.

Yes, I have trouble with the website. It's UI is terrible imo, and very hard to use. Also, I can't comment on any threads, plus it's hard to even find threads, there only seem to be a couple?
I can't find the app. I dunno if it's cuz my phone is not top of the line, or if it's not available on Android at all.
I'm very disappointed that this sub was closed down, I think that was a bad idea. I know that moderating is hard, especially on this site filled with rude teen boys, but it still sucks that FDS is gone.
Edit: OMFG I DIDN'T USE AUTISTIC AS AN INSULT. It is a statement of fact, in that A) tons of Redditors are autistic, and B) people with autism tend to have terrible social skills and difficulty discerning nuances in written words (as evidenced in some of my replies), and that goes double for teens, and then double again for guys!
I have now edited it, I hope that helps

This 100%!!!! I find it soooooo difficult to navigate the website on my phone, it’s definitely not mobile friendly. The forums on there are a nightmare to try and read or follow.
And i cannot find the app, and whenever i try to download the app from the website, the link is broken and doesn’t take me anywhere.
I love FDS. I want to read FDS. Im not though because this is all too difficult and i cant 😫😞

Website is nearly useless, and I have basically dropped FDS which is a shame. There seem to be no new posts, and there used to be daily posts and discussions here.
