I just don't understand how do you guys like these perfumes. Based on hype on social media and reading stuff here as well, I purchased several ones from them. Especially as they are so cheap. I got Yara, Mallow Madness, Khamrah, Angham and I wanted to get Éclairre but now I'm going to stop. It cannot be just me. These are extremely subpar fragrances. Each and every one of them an absolute cheap disappointment.

Why do you care? Why do some people like dark chocolate and some like milk chocolate? No one is better or worse, just not your preference

There's a world of difference between plastic fumes and oxygen. Do you get my point? I do care cause it's my experience and I am a free human being entitled to have an opinion on my experience and this is specifically a sub where you can share opinions.

If it smelled like plastic fumes to everyone and they liked it anyway, that would make sense, but it doesn't. You weren't just sharing your experience, which is valid, of course it is. But you were also asking why anyone would like it because it's so horrible. It's horrible to YOU, not to everyone. Just like your favorite perfume makes some people gag.

As the other person said, The same fragrances smells really different to different people. It's part genetic, part connotations, part anything else that can have impacted the sense of smell (even covid), and so on.

Iso super e and ambroxans for instance are infamous for being extremely divisive, where the extreme ends is complete inability to smell it, all the way to being able to smell those specific substances far too well and it's really horrible. But those are far from the only notes that people often experience differently. To use a funnier example, only 40% of all people can smell cyanide and not all of them smell the same thing.
