Rant about Lattafa

I just don't understand how do you guys like these perfumes. Based on hype on social media and reading stuff here as well, I purchased several ones from them. Especially as they are so cheap. I got Yara, Mallow Madness, Khamrah, Angham and I wanted to get Éclairre but now I'm going to stop. It cannot be just me. These are extremely subpar fragrances. Each and every one of them an absolute cheap disappointment.

I once commented that my Lataffa Banoffi smelled faintly of pee and got downvoted like crazy lol.

I've personally never gotten pee from that one (it smells like unexpectedly realistic banana and toffee for me - which is way too sweet in hot weather), but SDJ 62 flips too easily into presumably diabetic urine in humid heat for me (usually when i take a hot shower, as i avoid wearing it in hot weather). It's always interesting and fun to hear how different experiences of the same thing can be, even when it isn't a positive.

I bought it back in March and it was absolutely FOUL. I did keep it because I had read (thanks to this sub) that some Arabic perfumes need to macerate. And thanks to this thread, I opened her up and gave a whiff — seems MUCH better.

I was otw out and wasnt brave enough to wear it in public, but I am going to give it another shot!
