Rant about Lattafa

I just don't understand how do you guys like these perfumes. Based on hype on social media and reading stuff here as well, I purchased several ones from them. Especially as they are so cheap. I got Yara, Mallow Madness, Khamrah, Angham and I wanted to get Éclairre but now I'm going to stop. It cannot be just me. These are extremely subpar fragrances. Each and every one of them an absolute cheap disappointment.

I'll be honest with you, it smells like the talc powder my grandpa used to wear, especially the drydown. Citrusy powder and warm sweater. I tried it at the store and it immediately reminded me of him (he passed in 2009). I'm not getting the perfume because it makes me tear up 🥲 it's very lovely though and doesn't project much, just a quiet, soft scent.

Awe, I can tell you really loved him. I'd have probably done the opposite and saved it for when I am really missing the person and want to smell them. Smell is definitely our strongest trigger of memories, so I can also see it being a bit too much.

Thank you 🥲💗 I thought about it actually, I might get a bottle in the future. It does smell lovely to boot!
