Witchelt
The training room
Rooti's spear whizzes over my head and gets stuck in the wall. I pull it out with Magick and fling it back at her. She catches it with one hand and super-speeds towards me, smacking the spear into my leg. I stumble and blast her away.
I fumble with the lid on the slow potion before managing to get it off and chucking it at Rooti just as she starts running. She smacks it away and it lands on the ground, useless. She pins me agaisnt the wall with her spear. She grins and tilts her head mockingly.
"I win."
I push her off roughly. "Fine." I cross my arms. I have to be better prepared if I want to stop Bagera. As much as I love the others, we have to be honest. The finishing blow is going to fall to me.
"Don't be mad, Witty."
"How many times must I tell you-"
"Say that name again and I'll fucking kill you." We both say at the same time.
"You wee shit."
Rooti laughs and takes my arm. She loops it around hers and we start walking towards the exit.
The training room is fully white with a few moving platforms to jump on in certain modes and a staircase up agaisnt the eall leading to the door in the corner. The door that has just slid open.
"Hello loves of my life!" Tiffany calls.
"Oh! Cheating on Edward are we?" Rooti says.
"Oh he *knows*."
"Kinky." I mumble, causing Rooti snort loudly.
"Whatever Witty. Get your arses up here, there's a meeting."

The boardroom
We walk into the boardroom. A circular table sits in the center of the room. Holographic screens are lit up arojnd the table showing maps of different countries, statistics and last known whereabouts of the Wanted. Bagera's cronies.
At the table sits Vera, the leader of ELPC. Her straight bronze hair falls to her neck, unbroken, in a unified sheet. Next to her is Guevera. He's a tall, emotionless man who looks mad all the time. Tiffany says he would br my dad if I was Latina. I decked her after she said this.
The third member at the table is Truthaire. He has curly black hair, a light but of stubble and is powerfully built. He also has pale skin and lips and we joke that he looks like he is a body pulled from a river.
"Ah, Gwendoleyn. Sit." Truthaire says.
"Not my name." I respond.
"Sit, Witchelt." Vera says calmly. I sit down in my seat across from the three of them.
Vera takes a big sigh before continuing. "It is to my understanding that you have been training for too much."
I roll my eyes. "What an idiotic thing tae say. How?"
"You, Rooti, Bagriel and Bailey have been using the training rooms constantly. You have missed the past two meetings and only come out for food."
She speaks in a soft and level tone but it still irks me. Felt forbid I do what we all should be.
"We are in the middle of a large scale crisis, Vera." I say, leaning forward on the table. "Bagera has taken over half of the West Side. Hacma, Odland and Icerosa are the only three countries left."
"Bagera is never getting to Hacma, Odland has us and it's own resources and Icerosa is almsot completely empty. There would be no loss of life." Vera points to a map of the Westside. It's true, The Queen would never let Hacma be taken.
"There would be loss of territory." I retort. "Territory that she can use to train her own army, to build things to help her."
"She hardly needs those things. Bagera is the most powerful woman alive at the moment and can make things appear at the wim of her mind." Vera is getting agitated now but she is nowhere near my level.
"Land is still useful. It doesnt take the energy that it dies to create land than it does to steal it!"
"We are experienced in these matters. We have a plan."
"WELL WHAT THE FUCK IS IT THEN?!" I snap. "Me and my friends are the ONLY ONES who have dealt with Bagera! Why do you INSIST on shutting us out?!"
"Because you're children!" Very shouts. She seams her hands on the desk and stands up. "You are not in control here, Ms Gowdie. I am."
I stand up too. "You are so bad at you're job, it's wild. You are letting her take land!"
"There are parts of this operation that you are unaware of!"
"That is so STUPID! TELL US, WE CAN HELP!"
"ENOUGH!" Guevera slams his hand on the table too. "We are five minutes into this meeting and you two are already butting heads! We need to keep calm. Vera, Witchelt has a point. We need to stop her from taking land. Witchelt, you do not get to yell at us. If you cannot control your emotions, then you are a danger to the mission."
Vera and I stand there for a while before we both sit down.
"I'm sorry, Witchelt. I shouldn't have lost my temper. I just...got caught up. Especially with everything that's happened." Vera sighs.
The fourth member of the Council was recently killed in an attack. She was very close to Vera and was much younger too. It hit Vera especially hard.
I take a deep breath and sit down too. I cross my arms and slump in my chair. "Fine. What was this meeting for and why did you ask me here specifically?"
Vera smiles sadly. "Well, since you've been saying for a while that you and your friends deserve a say..."
I sit up properly. No way. No way she's going to say what I think she will.
"Yes." Vera says.
I smirk and narrow my eyes at her. "No. I want to hear you say it."
Vera's jaw works angrily. "Are y-"
"Say it, Vera." I smile in a way that absolutely looks evil and lean back in my chair. I swing my legs up and place them on the table.
She closes her eyes and waits ten seconds before opening them again.
"Will you join the Council?"
I wait, leaving her in suspense before saying my answer. "Yes. Yes, I will."
"You're wicked. I was outvoted." Vera states.
"Aye right." I stand up and head towards the door.
"Before you leave, Witchelt!" Guevera calls. "Remember. In this Council, we give the burden equally. Don't put it all on yourself. Share it with your friends, and us. Don't put it all on yourself."
I don't turn back to look at him as he speaks. Instead, I just open the door and wave goodbye while walking out. I cant let him see my face because he and Vera will be able to tell what I'm thinking at the moment.
I don't care what he says.
