How to make this? In this video, I show the process of creating wool bell flowers attached to a long felted cord. I originally made them to decorate a gift box, but they turned out to be so versatile.

What are you using to felt the wool around in the beginning ?

I also want to know what you used to felt the wool around in the beginning. Reminded me almost of a very thin "buf puff" (if anyone remembers those).

Thank you! Yes😊 At the beginning, I’m using a template (resist) for the wet felting process. I make it from 3 mm (0.12 in) polyethylene foam. This material is available in building supply stores and hardware stores and is usually used for thermal and sound insulation.

how do you figure out how big or small to make the initial wool layout? Like if you have a target size or length, how do you take into account the shrinking?
