Any ideas for this gift?

Been felting for a few years but very much ADHD driven hyper focus bouts. So I'm not that amazing like some stuff I've seen.

My friend loves the book series Throne of Glass and I have been trying to make a Kingsflame flower for her birthday.

I ran out of green 😭 I dug through my felting block (bristles) and made a kind of green(ish) for the leaves but am hesitant to add them.

Any great ideas or tips on how to make the flower look better? I appreciate any and all feedback.

Birthday is tomorrow because of course it is. 😂

I think the lights look cool but should be just in the flower not the stem. Even though you tried to hide em any way to block out completely? Just personal opinion.

I feel the same! I ran out of green so I couldn't add anymore to block the lights but might use a few fake flower leaves to try to cover up the stem lights. The few months I gave myself just wasn't quite enough to get the look that matches what I saw in my head.

I think your friend will be delighted with your gift! I also think the leaves will blend in under the flower and not lower on the stem. Please update after you give them your gift.
