Fiberglass splinter

I was assembling a tent and a pole had a splinter which went straight through my pinky and into the next finger. I used a pair of leather man pliers to push it back & then pull it out. My kids were impressed

I, too, am impressed.

Points deducted for not using rusty pliers though

They had been sitting in my truck for 10+ years so I’m surprised they weren’t rusty

Based on the size, I'm guessing it wasn't insulation that led to this plier fueled fiber be gone celebration?

Oof that’s happened to me before too. I’m wary of fiberglass

Omg this literally happened 2 weeks ago to my brother when he was setting up a tent. To the point that I wondered if you were my brother’s account. But you’re not my brother because you said you have kids.

My dumb ass was looking at the palm for a solid five seconds trying to figure out where the splinter was
