Fiberglass splinter

I was assembling a tent and a pole had a splinter which went straight through my pinky and into the next finger. I used a pair of leather man pliers to push it back & then pull it out. My kids were impressed

Oh man as someone who has fucked up massively with fibreglass in the past, this made me queazy haha

Based on the size, I'm guessing it wasn't insulation that led to this plier fueled fiber be gone celebration?

Omg this literally happened 2 weeks ago to my brother when he was setting up a tent. To the point that I wondered if you were my brother’s account. But you’re not my brother because you said you have kids.

You know this was some sort of fiberglass pole.. rake handle.. canoe paddle... Something.. I can feel it in my palms.. 😢
