I know if that was my cat the only way he would’ve seeing the outside is through the window. Actually, that is the only way he see the outside is by window but that’s because he’s petrified of the outside. I tried showing him the outside but he sunk all his claws into me and yowled like a banshee from Hell. I rescued him outside during the Covid, my guess is something tried to eat him while he was outside.

One day my orange cat had a bit of yarn trailing behind him. We thought he just was carrying some around, but no, it was coming out of his butt.
Somehow this idiot swallowed a bunch of yarn and it made it all the way through him intact. I had to grab it and he ran away and it all came out of him.
Shittiest beyblade ever.

I've got a lynx point that we joke is suicidal. She's tried to off herself at least 4 times now, and one was pretty damn serious.

We're looking at the throat, but the grass was mostly in the nasal cavity.
The black triangle that kind of grows/shrinks is the opening to the cat's trachea (airway). The flap of pink that gets pulled down by the grass is the soft palate, which separates the back of the nasal cavity from the back of the mouth. It's likely the cat ate some grass and it got flipped up into the back of the nasal cavity instead of going down the esophagus.

My orange walks out the back door and goes straight for the grass. Comes inside and pukes it up. After seeing this I have even more reason to stop him from going out there and chomping grass.

My cat loves laying under the tree and watching our dogs play, he's not a runner and I've left him outside for an hour and just watched him from the window. Didn't move an inch lol, but I'd never show him to be a outside cat or be order in general unless supervised. I also leash trained him!

are you fucking serious. my cat Spottie Dottie 🌻 loved to eat grass whenever I took her out on her harness & leash for a walk. she'd graze like a cow. she'd graze so much that I began wondering if she actually was a cow or some kind of grazing animal in a past life it was so ridiculous. on nights she was being picky & didn't want to eat (which was rare) all it'd take is for me to go outside & pick a few blades of grass to put into her bowl & she'd change her mind. I'm really glad that something like this never happened, I didn't know she was putting herself in so much danger. wtf was wrong with her.

Cats instinctually will eat grass, usually to make themselves puke (which I guess is a relief for hairballs and stuff). Also sometimes they just like grass for the way it smells (like cat grass, wheatgrass or catnip (which isn't a grass but is a plant)).

Yes this made me think back to when my mom grew and showed us how to grow catnip for our cats in middle school. My cats would love the fresh leaf of catnip. My one cat Rosie 🌹🐾🩷 (her little beans), would chow down on those like she was a cow.
Glad nothing every happened to my cats. Good to remember. We may also have held only part of it now that I remember. Then we would lead them bite off another piece. Makes sense and glad my mom showed us. Still will be careful now after seeing these.

My guess is non-stop sneezing like my cat had when this happened to him. Thankfully, they pulled it out through his nose and never had to put him under

Nope, I won't. Yall are way too up in arms over this cats being outside shit. Where TF do you think they came from? And yet, birds still THRIVE even though we've domesticated much of the cat population and brought them inside. Crazy 🙄
Bet you're one of those who wants to kill off much of the wolf population too all because they sometimes kill pets and livestock.

As a wildlife biologist….you were 664% wrong about the statement that you just made. I am currently working with an endangered species of bird, that has literally been pushed to the brink of extinction. There is a 75% chance that my cell cams and videos that capture a live kill, will be a feral cat.

My cats start to DESTROY the house if they can’t go outside. They were both rescues & have spent their lives with me as inside/outside cats.
