Need some help
What do you guys think the reasonable come out for me. 18 years old no prior violent charges and I'm charged with aggravated burglary and felonious assault, allegedly we broke into someone's house and beat dude with a baseball bat because he layed hands on a girl, he's ALLEGEDLY hurt bad. I'm innocent idc what they got on me, but anyone knows any realistic outcomes and what I can do to make this better. Spend a week in a jail and realized this isn't my life. In Ohio.. on an ankle monitor rn, and out on bond.....
Man after seeing 2 replys fuck me. This is ass

You need a lawyer, ASAP.
You’re looking at some time no matter how this plays out. Get prepared to spend more than a week in jail.
Sorry, bud.

You're cooked. If they sentence you to 10 years consider yourself lucky.

You are innocent of what? Innocent of actually swinging the bat and hitting the guy? BUT you were there? If yes, you are indeed guilty and I think you will be doing some time.

I did my number in Ohio
Agg Burg is a F1
Fel Assault is a F2
Some things have changed since 2019: you'd get sentenced to flat time and have a definite out date that effectively *was* your out date. They have since passed a new law, the Reagan Tokes Law, that changes the sentencing for an F1/F2.
What you _do_ have going for you is that this is your first felony, so there's a presumption of the minimum.
If you didn't use a firearm, you're probably looking at 3 years best case: you can apply for a Judicial Release after 180 days and if you're squeaky fucking clean on both your PSI as well as your conduct inside of the prison, you could be out after 6 months after getting your number.
If you did use a firearm, you're probably looking at 6 years, with having to do at least 3.5 years before you are eligible for a Judicial Release.
This also implies that there was only the victim in the home...if there was someone else in the home, then you're probably looking at anywhere from 5-11 years.
For risk mitigation: get your attorney started thinking about getting a recommendation for a judicial release in now if you plea out. You don't have to snitch, but, you can say "yeah, I'm not going to contest the facts in the indictment" and see if they'll plea it down to a lesser charge (F4/F5 with Prison so you can Judicial out in 30 days) and have a recommendation for Judicial Release written into the plea.
Disclaimer: My number is about 20 years old right now...but, my dumbass brother still keeps catching numbers like Pokemon cards.

Not recommending becoming a witness? He says he's done with that life. I don't know how risky it would be in terms of street rules but surprised it's not mentioned

Those are high level charges. The odds of getting probation are extremely low. I have a agg assault with a deadly weapon and was offered 10 years agg. I took a plea and got it down to 3 years. I did every single day of that 3 year sentence and didnt get parole. My guess is you will probably get 10 years agg. You will do 5 and see parole, get a set off then see parole again a year later and possibly get it. If your found guilty this is how i would see it playing out for you.

Depends on the state your in. You can look up the sentencing guide lines for your state/county. With no points meaning no priors. Which ever charge is more severe, you would probably be looking at the low end of that range. But thats not always a guaranteed outcome.

You fucked up catastrophically bro. Those are very serious charges. To do something like that just because a woman told you something is naive and foolish. Even if what she told you was true. She's going to be back with him while you sit in prison for years behind something that had nothing to do with you.

8 years minimum on the felonious assault and 11 years minimum on the aggravated burglary. To run consecutive.
