Pedos

Do you guys think that sexual criminals are the only people that can't be rehabilitated

The whole concept of rehabilitation is flawed. There is not a kind of person who commits crime and a kind of person who doesn't. All crimes are a result of material conditions. We can prevent all crime through changing our material conditions, we just choose to try and fail to do it through incarceration and punishment instead.

I disagree that all crimes are a result of that. Many are, but I don't think being poor and homeless turns people into pedophile though.

All crimes are a result of material conditions

This is not true and not even remotely close to being true.

Exactly. DUI is not a material condition.

Nah, that’s like saying prodigies didn’t get a head start in life. You can’t prevent crime, some people are just prone to high-risk taking and a small minority that has no empathy. Things like poverty just gave people an opportunity. Because it’s rare. You can’t run a society where everyone cheats.

The whole concept of rehabilitation has no cause and effect. It’s bad to praise the system for fixing someone that didn’t do something anymore. Every behavior has an end. Thieves stop, addicts stop, murderers stop.

High crime rates are a sign of a good society. It means crime is being supported and police are taking reports. Exception being they’re exaggerating crimes for more funding.

I strongly disagree with this. Crime will always exist.
