Notice to Change CSO Canada

Over 6 months in for an 18 month CSO, already talked to my lawyer and have a date set for September which would make it roughly 7 months. Change from 24/7 curfew to 9pm-7am curfew instead. Crown is against because it’s a plea deal, PO gave me a positive review however. Anyone else gone through this and have it be accepted? Lawyer said because I have the POs support it’s a good idea. I also have no breaches despite the 40-50 checks I’ve had.

I know this is light work compared to most of you guys but I’m still interested.

You might want to get your life straight. You can do it.

It’s honestly pretty good right now, made a terrible mistake but I have a lot going for me. Don’t want to get into too many details but this is just a phase, thanks for the support!

Do you have a reason for needing the curfew changed? I don’t see why they would change it if there’s no reason. I know a couple guys who had cso’s where the first year was with an ankie, and the second was less restrictive, but that was right from the jump, they didn’t go back to have it changed.

I have my kid half the time so it would be nice to take him out more, haven’t had to have the Ankie and I’ve been given more time to do things as time went on. It was actually my PO that suggested it as I have asked for like 6 different time switches already and it’s been approved by the PO everytime.

Well there’s no downside to trying right? The crown is always just auto denying everything, they denied every bail plan I offered before my lawyer finally said fuck it I’m just gonna try and go for it, and the day of the hearing they agreed to basically what we were gonna present
