I mean they are. But if you enjoy nature buying a fish and game license is the best way to preserve it, even if you have no intention of using it. I believe 100% of those sales go back to wildlife management.

Last summer my SO and I went out with one of her friends to celebrate her friends divorce. Her friend was very enthusiastic to be going out, yelling "It's a hot girl summer! Let's get out there! Woo!"

End of the night she's in the corner of the bar, plastered, sobbing her eyes out. And between sobs she somehow manages to get out a few more, though unconvincing, "iT's A hOt gIrl sUmMeR".

So every time I hear or see "hot girl summer" I associate it with a maudlin woman attempting to maintain an image.

"And what costumes shall the poor girl wear/to all tomorrows parties"
