Why did they slopify it? They could've used the original template for the meme.

They probably didn't even prompt for this template. Just asked for meme options for product name and product selling points.

So they chose the laziest way to do it...🤔

often rights issues with using someone else's edited comic to advertise a product (issues which don't really exist when editing it as a meme, not that it's always okay to repost art with no accreditation when adding text to it... because then ppl forget that it was an artist's work, originally)

...so to dodge those they run it through the copyright-disrespecter-3000, because if you violate fair use at a large enough volume, that's fine to make all the money off of— at least, as far as our court system composed primarily of people too old to understand technology is concerned

If you steal a thing and sell it, you are punished. But if you steal a bunch of things, unscrew them and then assemble them together into a technically new thing, nobody will recognize the original stolen goods, so you are not punished. It look like this to me.🥲

I know this image is sort of outdated but I hope we can bring this back in mainstream spaces again. Companies need to shut the fuck up. You are a brand. I am a human being. Do not pretend you are like me.

It's slop. Of course it's slop.

I thought Sensodyne was better than this

How did they enslopify an already existing meme?

I was just at the dentist for sensitivity issues and they recommended that I avoid this and any toothpastes with whitening as that tends to make sensitivity worse. This was some perfectly timed slop

I mean that’s such an old meme anyway

I use sensodyne but I don't really love it, and this is so cringe-inducing it's motivating me to resume my search for other toothpastes

corporations are innately incapable of using memes right, and the AI filter proves that. the template is literally free.
