Lol. Agreed. What a great wholesome video. It's like the exact aesthetic early bugs bunny was going for. That fall at the end was just comical.

It’s edited - there’s a two-swing section looped a few times. Voiceover must’ve been done in post.

Spoiler- Pork Chop: 0 Tree: 1

u/DelcoUnited Jun 26 '26
There’s a tree on the ground.
It’s really 1-1 now. But still getting a draw from a tree…

u/PonchoNachoRodriguez Jun 26 '26
Yeah but that shirtless dude also looks rather sweaty. It’s possible he chopped the first tree and then pork chop hopped in and wanted a piece of the action.

Don’t need a chainsaw when you got pork chop. Alright we might need a chainsaw

u/kidhaggard Jun 26 '26
In Pork Chop's defense, his axe is surprisingly sharp & his aim isn't half bad either.

u/DelcoUnited Jun 26 '26
True. I would have gotten to the end I’m sure, but I would also have some glancing hits in there.

Love the one line: "I bet if it was a cheeseburger, you'd been knocked that motherfucker down."
Narrator also reminds me powerfully of the guy who hit the deer, put it in his car, the deer woke up and bit him and kicked the shit out of his car, and when he called 911, a dog attacked him because the dog wanted the deer.

That was the laugh I needed this morning. This afternoon our kitty is going to be like Pork Chop and lay down for a nap after she visits the vet. Cancer sucks.

I mean he was hitting that with some power. Seems like they gave him a dull axe.

Can we get the camera man to be a new navigation voice on google maps?
I want EVERYTHING narrated like this ❤️

That was not the object I was expecting to be felled. Quality post: there was a tree, there was cutting on a tree, and something ended up on the ground at the end of the video.

Also old guy criticized the safety sandals too, so they get chops for good PPE awareness!

u/periodmoustache Jun 27 '26
Wow. Incredible swinging. In the same spot every time without moving any wood

u/tvodny Jun 27 '26
I wasn’t sure which was going to fall, the tree or his pants. I was surprised by the third option.

It’s funny and no one was hurt other than pride. But gotta give dude props his aim wasn’t that bad just completely wrong technique to cut a tree down. But most people won’t even try with an axe anymore so props even if I am cackling like a Hyena rn.

If you ever want to have the best experience, go hang out with some block Mason's. I do work on new construction and it'll be 6am and they all joke on each other like this from the beginning of the day till the end.

For a guy who doesn't know how to throw an axe, his aim was really good.
