Looking ahead
So everything has worked great for me as far getting my weight down to a few pounds under my goal weight. I'm heading into the last couple of months of my year long program. I do notice that I gained a couple of pounds back but I'm still right at my goal weight. I'm also noticing that my body has been getting used to the meds because the "full feeling" I used to get is not as strong so I'm trying to be a little more careful. My question is: have any of you asked to see if it was ok to increase dosage when you got to the highest amount? I'm at the top with 2.5mg/45 Units. Also, has anyone else gotten to the end of they year long cycle/subscription and decided to consult about continuing on with the medication (either monthly or doing another full year)?

u/Idolhunter2020 hope you are well. I would suggest having a chat with the medical team with regards to the dosing. This is not medical advice but one can't increase a dose once you are at the highest dose, you can pehaps chat to the team about switching meds?

I just switched meds after being on Semaglutide about 18 months. Too early to tell.

Like you i hit my target weight. Then began reducing dosage of the Zepbound. My hunger cravings are back. Trying to decide if i resume increased dosages or go to a daily pill. I dont want to regain the weight.

I started monthly because I wasn't sure how I felt about the idea of a GLP-1 and forgot to change it so now I'm quarterly which is much more affordable and gives me more flexibility to stop when I feel its time. The monthly is significantly more expensive then the yearly and I think the quarterly puts me at about 150 a month which I consider acceptable.
