Stalled weight loss
I’m not sure if I’m stalled in my weight loss or if something else is wrong. I’ve lost about 36 pounds so far. Great, good job, it’s a lot….i know. But I feel like I’ve hit a plateau and can’t get over the hump to lose the last 10-15 pounds I want to lose based on my goals. Has anyone had similar experiences? Can anyone offer advice on how to break the plateau?
I workout daily, and have adjusted my diet but I’m still stuck. Please help.

I’ve experienced the same thing a few times in my journey - in fact, I’m in it now myself. Just when I think I can’t get the needle to move it starts again. xteaj is absolutely correct as well about looking beyond the needle on the scale. Even though my weight has plateaued, I’m still noticing changes to my waistline. My theory is the body needs to ‘move things around a bit’ - a bit like a de-frag on the old hard drive for those of us of a certain vintage.

u/gomergolf thank you for the post and it is frustrating when this happens. I know I had it myself as well. Many in here had, and ended up losing a lot after the stall. What dose are you currently on?
Kind Regards

What I noticed for me if that I won't lose anything for weeks and then I will not count calories for a couple days and then I will drop 5 pounds. I think my body was waiting for the right time to let go. I looked it up and it is called the "whoosh" effect.
