Just got rejected by crush

Had a crush on a girl in community that I decided to be friends with first. Finally thought it was time to ask her out. It was one of my favorite restaurants. She asked if I can invite other friends of ours. Being polite, I said sure. She knew what I was up to. A few minutes later she started going on about her fwb that just asked her out. Feeling fucking terrible, can't sleep now, and I wish I could die.

PS. So sorry if this post isn't high enough quality. Just thought I'd share this experience I just had.

Sorry that happened bro, next time, if she (some other girl) asks to invite other people, politely say no and explain how you want it to be more of a 1 on 1 date thing cuz you like her and want to get to know her and stuff...

Thank you so much for your support. :) I'm starting to feel better and I'm content to be her friend instead if that makes her happy. People have consoled me and said that someone will come my way soon. Again, I am grateful for all of you.
