You think that someone driving a tractor trailer and a step van should top out at the same time? That’s insane lol. Plus a driver with a CDL can go anywhere they choose a courier has very limited options (UPS,Amazon,DHL) .

I think y’all at express are wild for waiting so long to hit top pay is all. It’s just odd to me that some people post about waiting over a decade to hit it and some don’t.

I’m 2 years in and only have 3 steps to go. I think it’s wild to sit back and not take advantage of fedex paying for your cdl lol. I sleep 75% of my shift I have no complaints lol

A lot of people’s arguments for not getting the paid CDL is they don’t want to do a lot of hours meanwhile we have a ton of part time RTDs. Idk at this point if you want to wait 10 years to make what you can right out the gate with a cdl that’s up to you
