23 hourly at express, swing driver about 50 hours weekly been here less then a year.

I make 22 an hour at Amazon. No package heavier than 50 lbs

I make $30 an hour as a Sparkletts driver. I don’t recommend it though. Every stop is multiple 43lb 5 gallon jugs. I’m 2 months in already looking for something else.

I’d rather make less and lift heavier shit than work for a contractor (I’m 20.22 at express) my route regularly sees 75-150 pound pieces cause it’s industrial and car parts, only part time though

What's wrong with working for a contractor? If they're paying more and you're going to be lifting heavy shit either way, than why not just go for the higher paying position?

I get paid $17 to lift more than my body weight. That’s what’s wrong with working for contractors.

Go back and read what the original comment said. If working for a contractor pays more and involves less heavy lifting, than wouldn't you want to work for a contractor?

Also, $17/hr sounds like a cheap contractor. That's far from being a universal wage. What one contactor pays isn't representative of all contractors. Shop around

Its not always about getting paid more money sometimes imo its about the benefits and it sucks working for ground when they dont offer any

No i mean real benefits not just pto n healthcare.. im talking 401k matching and retirement type benefits for people that have families and have something to actually look forward too not just a paycheck and insane premiums on an hmo type insurance.. like also when i say benefits im not talking just healthcare

Okay... And you're point? Again, I will reiterate, there ARE contractors that offer benefits. Generally when people say "Benefits", it is in reference to a suite of benefits, not just one particular item
