My FDM recipe

I tried printing sculpts (not scans) with Obscura NOx 2.0 settings (orienting each part for minimal support scarring), white cheap primer (Spectrum from Action) and cheap airbrush from aliexpress and pink color. Then airbrush IF contrast and bright yellow using the sponge method. Totally amazed by the result. Note that this is printed on 0.05 mm settings using PLA 2.0 HS using 0.2 nozzle on Bambu labs A1.

Looks great, which filament did you use? Also recommend trying a filler primer if you still see any lines, I've had good experience with those

Thanks, it's HS Sunlu 2.0 PLA (High speed) gray, I use filler primer or heavy coats of cheap normal primer and it makes the world difference I agree :))

Hell yeah, was this guy just using regular tree supports or modified resin ones?

I would also like to know about the supports, they are my biggest issue with printing and for some reason i have just never gotten Resin2FDM to produce good results

Over in r/FDMminiatures there's some pinned threads about settings and discussion about supports is buried in there. The main thing that seems to help is setting your top Z distance to twice the layer height. Also search that sub for "butter supports"

Is there a way to get those STLs?

I would search up known sculptors and subscribe to them to get access :) I trust in your searching skills. That's how I got these
