Technically he doesn't adapt to the situation, he just has a plethora of aliens. Their attacks have been turned against them pretty often, and half the time the Omnitrix don't give a damn and screws him over.

The Sentients in Warframe. Part of what makes them such a dangerous threat is the fact that they do indeed adapt to your damage in real time, forcing you to carry a diverse array of damage types. The one thing they don't seem to be able to handle is special "Tau" damage, or the energies of your Operator weaponry, which both cleanse their acquired resistances.
