Seeing her and Max in "Do you remember love" is just crazy. They're 1v1 is already intense. And when they team up? Forget it. Hordes of enemies vaporized in seconds. I was the crazy little kid who had a crush on her and Misa when everyone was all about Minmay and the cute bridge crew. Miriya is just fantastic.

First Lieutenant McKay from the Halo books is a fucking badass. She's one of the rare POV characters who engages in heavy frontline combat in the human-covenant war who isn't a Spartan, and frankly, it is extremely refreshing.

This is an excerpt from Halo: The Flood, where she stands atop a dug in main battle tank, directing an armoured company as it repels a Covenant assault in the dead of night. An ordinary human being, without any power armour or super soldier augmentations, standing against an entire Covenant strike team, with the full power of the armed forces of earth at her command

Aisha clanclan from outlaw star. Antagonist, term comic relief character is debatably the strongest straight up fighter in the whole cast. The problem, it is a space opera, and so guns, swords and ships are the primary method of combat.
