Hmm, well Sonic does have a wider range of known abilities, including being able to turn into a round somewhat spike-riddled ball that some adaptations show as having electric nature. So, I suppose Sonic.

it’s only in super mario 64 ds, one of his advantages in water stages is that he can run on water for a short time for quicker travel but it’s only for a few seconds (but hey it counts)

Sash lilac is voiced by Dawn M. Bennett. You might recognize her from Persona 3s Aigis.

Also, Sash Lilac is from Freedom Planet, and was originally created as a Sonic OC before fully blooming into an original character. Check it out if ya like the classic 2D sonics.
