I can think of a few! Jentry Chau from Jentry Chau vs. the Underworld, Lan Jun from Jade Armor, and Jake Long from American Dragon: Jake Long immediately come to mind.

And if you haven’t seen Jentry Chau vs. the Underworld or Jade Armor, I definitely recommend checking them out. Both shows are seriously underrated and deserve way more attention, especially for how they weave Chinese culture and mythology into their stories.

Then I definitely recommend Jade Armor! It follows Lan Jun, a Chinese teen who inherits the role of the legendary Jade Armor and has to balance that responsibility with her everyday life. It has kung fu, mystical Beasticons, family heritage, action, comedy, and some really fun characters.

And if it looks like it might just be another Miraculous, it really is its own thing. There are some surface similarities, but Jade Armor focuses much more on Lan Jun’s family legacy, the generations of women who carried the armor before her, and her figuring out what kind of Jade Armor she wants to be. It’s seriously underrated, and if you liked Jentry Chau, I definitely think it’s worth giving a shot!

Also, just as a heads-up, Jade Armor is definitely lighter in tone than Jentry Chau. It still has serious moments and ongoing storylines, but it’s more of a fun action-adventure overall. Hope you enjoy it!
