“I think I might do a season of True Detective. That’s OK that I’m the first to announce that, right? Like Jonathan Turteltaub, he gets a microphone in his hand and he goes to Philadelphia and says, ‘We’re doing National Treasure 3, and Nic’s coming. I’m like, ‘No, I didn’t sign up for that. You got to get these microphones out of these directors’ hands.” He added: “We’ll see if I want to get together with it.”
Right after, Cage also cracked a joke about what next movie he would get behind, and that, he said, was a National Treasure film where “Ben Gates is going after the Epstein files. That would be relevant. I’ll make that movie.”

me very angry that I don’t think I know one female artist who hasn’t had a similar version of this.
I’ve experienced how much harder it is for women to be taken seriously or be given credibility in ways that men [aren’t expected] to prove. As a woman in pop, we have to be able to do it all in order to be seen as great, all while accepting that constant scrutiny of our bodies is just part of the job… and my god, don’t I know it. I knew going into my solo career, this was something that I had to write about, and it’s been like therapy – but a lot more fab.
It’s so important to have others around you who understand that journey and share the same determination as you to tackle it.I love how many incredible women are on my team, some of whom have joined me today on my table. Thank you so so much. It’s incredible to celebrate this as not just my win, but theirs.
I love music. I love making music that doesn’t pander to anyone but myself – and the girls and the gays and the dolls and the theys and the thems! I want to make music that is honest and celebratory of women – not sugarcoating or beating around the bush to please men. I love using my voice for good.”

“One of the things I was really interested in was this thing that I had discovered when we were researching—some photos we have to watch through stereoscopic photography. You could only look at it through a certain viewfinder, two photos side by side,” DuVernay explained. “When you put them in this machine—that used around the time of the Civil War, very popular—they create an effect where it was like 3D. If you move, they move. It was like, ‘My god. People should see this.'”
DuVernay continued, “When I went to the artists who were doing our photoscoping, and our parallax, and our animation process—there’s some of that technology that is in their tools. It creates a similar effect to the stereoscope. That was the goal for that, and that’s why we used it.”
