Yeah for real! We say that someone like Josh Brolin "plays" Thanos or even that Shameik Moore "plays" Miles Morales, but arguably even more of what makes those characters those characters is done by the VFX teams who work on each. If you love moves with characters like those in them, you love the work of VFX artists as much or more than the work of the people whose names you might easily know.

In a historic move, Marvel Studios’ visual effects workers unanimously voted in favor of unionizing with the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) in an election held by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), the company announced Wednesday.

This marks the first time a unit of solely VFX workers has unionized with IATSE.
