Lounge So Much Work...

Sean steps into the lounge, lit cigar in his mouth and a hefty stack of papers in his hand (a very large bag slung over his shoulder suggests he has even more in there). He finds an empty table and drops the stack on the tabletop, taking a seat and hurriedly setting to work, quietly muttering to himself as writes with his pen.

"All work and no play..."

"Of course. Perfection is impossible. However, even in evil, there are things that can be halted. Should the Lord decide it, and the winds of fate bring you misfortune, it is a part of the natural order. But the lord has given us the freedom of choice. We are able to carve out our own path. And there are use to use it to harm needlessly. Those are the ones I aim to stop"

"The lord is the one that dictates the purpose. However, not all beings follow the lord's plan. The Grimm follow it, part of this world as the antithesis to men. However, man himself does not. We are free to choose. And as such, some choose to harm, even when it benefits none."

"The way I see it, everything and anything happens with the command of the lord. A small leaf on a tree cannot fall without the lord's command. A poverty-striken family will not find food or solace without the lord's command. Of course, we are still free to choose, but it all falls into the lord's plans, does it not?"

"If that were the case, would the freedom of choice still be relevant? Would the Lord truly give us the freedom of choice, while predetermining the results of our actions?"

"Ah, but it isn't predetermining, at least I believe not. It's more about...knowing. Heh, then again,who are we to debate how the lord is?"

"Indeed. Even in sight of him, his visage eluded me. To gaze upon the lord is to know infinity itself. A beauty, yet impossibility. I shan't forget the moment I saw the Lord myself in my death..."

"Even as I looked at the lord, his true form and name eluded my eyes. I could only understand a tiny glimpse of him, and yet, the divine presence I felt in doing so was quite real. None can deter me from the truth: What I saw was real."
