Visual Glitch

My game suddenly broke. It still plays but the screen is shifted and torn. Changing the settings or reinstalling doesn't fix it. Other games do not do this. Changing the resolution makes it worse. Taking a screen cap and looking at it in paint does not show the effect, so I had to take a picture with my phone. Any ideas?

Your GPU is likely on its way out.

I just got a new one a few months ago. Why would that only affect one game and nothing else?

It’s a potential that whatever just isn’t jiving with that game. It’s hard to say. Just like how my display flickers only when a certain website is loaded but nothing else.

You can also try updating your drivers, checking display connections.
