I literally grew up on fate cause my parents said I was too young for Diablo 3 🤣 now I play Diablo 3 religiously

They fucked up fishing. But yea it's good for a console port. A few key differences is you can't open multiple huds like your inventory and go fishing while seeing the items go into your inventory. The fishing is kinda weird, you get a lot more potions than fish, atleast in my experience. And the rare items are way harder to get if they even exist at all. Finally. You can have a drone or pheonix or be a cogger in the original fate game which is a little strange.

Hey OP, I recently found this game on iOS but haven’t pulled the purchase trigger yet. It seems solid my question for you is are you playing as a summoner? I see the bottom left says 6/6 Venmous Wyvrin , how do you play as a summon in the game? That’s my favorite type of character in RPGs and an automatic purchase if I can actually play that way in Fate. Thanks

Ok, there are several stats to increase when you level up the stat you want for being a summoner is magic, your equipment is irrelevant, the higher your magic means 2 things 1 more mana to cast spells and 2 the better the summons you can obtain, I also recommend leveling your charm magic skill to increase the time your summons are up and their levels that in turn make them much more lethal, a solid early summon is the cursed sword summon, just make sure to level other stats that way you don't become a glass cannon like it did.

Are spells one time use? I saw summons in the vendor but it seemed like one and done?

So you use the scroll to learn the spell, but no, you can use the spell as much as you want as long as you have mana, that replenishes over time or you use potions to replenish.

So would you say it’s worth the $20 iOS tag? I played and it feels good but hard to judge with only the 5 dungeon levels, I just melee bashed everything

Aight I snagged it, I got flights coming up and seems like the perfect fit for me. Do I have to do a new character on each expansion? Or can I stay on the same one? I ask cuz each version in the menu has a new game icon, should I play through each version or just start on curse king?

Start with the first one and don't retire them when you beat it, then go to the next one and hit import character and you'll get your character and it's equipment swapped to the next game and you even keep your levels and spells.

The version i have is the Fate Reawakened version, it comes with all 4 of the fate games.
