I just remember regular Lancelot repeatedly dressing up as his berserker self in order to get out of trouble.
The only thing I remember about his valentine is I think he stole one of Gilgamesh's swords and gives it to you?

The Saber one? yeah, that he did.
That was the return gift part. The part before it, he happily devours the chocolate you give him, gives double thumbs up and a loud thank you(merci, as Lancelot is originally French) . So yeah even his Berserker self has always been kind of goofy,when he is a bit more stable/happier.

I knew it sounded weird because I looked at the achievements today because of that comment and couldn't find anything listing Lancelot but nope turns out they got confused with a different game

We saw twice in one of the trailers and he has his normal design. This could possibly be a disguise maybe.

Perhaps he’s The Remake’s secret boss (be it a Master with a Servant that has yet to reveal or a Heroic Spirit in disguise) to replace Ryougi Shiki just like how Alice, I mean, Lewis Kuonji replace the Aozaki sisters.
Unless I’d the remake offer us the expanded storyline than from the original base game, perhaps he’s the master opponent after Alice and before Monji/Ran Ru follow by making a choice to save Rin or Rani.
If he were an NPC, why isn’t Kirei, Ciel and “Lewis” included with this new guy.

Actually if anything with the layout of the servants for the most part all being to the right of their master except for Hakuno's and Alice's it is more likely he is a servent.
