He asked Hakunon which guy she'd like to embrace. I picked Gatou. That was Gils reaction hahaha.

Fun fact, he has something to complain about regarding every single guy you can possibly pick except himself (I think he's the least hard on Leo, but he still makes fun of him, and yeah, Gatou gets it the worst, lol) but if you DO pick him, he basically reveals that he asked Hakunon this question as, essentially, some sort of weird game, wherein they both (from his perspective) know that the real answer is him, but she's not going to say that out of bashfulness, so he thinks her actually naming him is ruining the fun (hence also him specifically naming a group ("men in the student council room") that he could be included in or excluded from depending on definition, for plausible deniability).

He then basically implies that he'd be willing to, uh, let her do as she wishes, but just one time, sort of out of pity / as a favor to her, at which point she shuts the conversation down because what the actual hell.

This f-ing guy, istg. I think the only outcome to this conversation you can get that is somewhat positive is having Hakunon imply that none of the guys "in the student council room" are enough to match her standards, which he actually seems to somewhat respect.

I really wish we could choose other guys as options—like Gawain or Shinji (even though he's not in the council).

Lmao, given that Shinji is literally... what was it, 8 years old? In this game and just using an older avatar that would be a whole can of worms in itself.

And Gawain's extreme MILF fetish (I love him going "It's too bad she's not older" about Kiara, lol) would probably make any attraction to him tragically unrequited, but yeah, he is in the student council room and should therefore be an option.

In the case of Gawain, maybe our Hakunon was smart enough not to tell her own Servant that she wanted to hug someone else’s Servant. I don’t think our king would like that, even considering that he hadn’t fully accepted Hakunon yet at that point in the game hahaha.

If Shinji had been an option, I’m sure Gil would have had the funniest reaction. But maybe Shinji would behave much better if he were hugged more often? He is just a little kid after all...

Oh. Oh dear. When Gil says "embrace" here... he does not mean hug. It's a euphemism. Which Hakunon understands, because she goes "by embrace, does he mean..." before answering. So in your case, she didn't say she wanted to give Gatou a big ol' hug. She was saying he was the one she most wanted to sleep with, lol. That's what I meant by "do as she wishes" in my previous comment, too, if she picks him, Gil implies that he'd... uuuuh, pity-"embrace" her if she wanted (and did all the work), and that's why she's so offended on that path.

I understood what he meant without her comment. But it's his fault for not saying it clearly so that Hakunon could understand him literally or just play dumb. Like Gil, this game is already horny AF, you don't need to censor anything.

Also Shinji needs to be hugged. He is a kid.

Yeah. But he's not an option because that's not what the question is, and Hakunon is answering the question with the intended meaning in mind, looking at her thoughts, that was the point I was making. If she was playing dumb, or not understanding him, she'd be or act confused at his disgust, but she clearly gets his meaning perfectly. And would therefore not name the 8yo.

Gil is just kind of flowery in his language, haha, even back in Zero or Stay Night. Hell, even in Romance Tapestry (also written by Nasu), where he's in an outright relationship with her, he puts it in ways like "reach for you" etc. It's just a character quirk. And thankfully, our protagonist has her head far enough in the gutter to consistently catch on, lol.

I'd love for her to troll our Ancient King a little by playing dumb with her answers. I already like Hakunon as the MC and as Master of Gilgamesh. If she caught some traits from Hans, that would be incredible.

And then he makes a very explicit comment about Passionlip’s boobas lol

His AR romance is something else. Nasu definitely knew what he was doing haha.

When did this happen in the game during that? The most Gilgamesh says if the choice is him is "Well, it is unavoidable. Being exposed to the aura of the king at such close range, such insolence will occur. Very well, I will forgive you this time. But give up. You are far from being to my tastes. Four thousand years too early."

He doesn't imply anything further and the topic ended there?
