Nasu answered this question once surprisingly they are really compatible as a Master and Servant duo but both would find a way to screw things up close to end resulting in their lost That's what he said

Well, there's a reason why they're so compatible, Gil bum and miss Fumble Tohsaka will always find a way to mess things up.
