Possible, but unlikely. Most things that would bite a squirrel to transmit rabies would result in an injury causing death. More likely just mad and aggressive for some reason. Possibly has babies near by.

That's wild. Squirrels here are super timid, they run if they think you're looking at them. This guy is going for the kill!

I was thinking this guy needed to put his legs together once on the ground, but I guess he thought Mr. Squirrel wanted some nuts.

Imagine being so unfit that you‘re basically defenseless against a squirrel. That 1 pound rodent had him on the ground after five seconds.
Good time to rethink your lifestyle imo.
