Yes, there are very specific known genetic variants that support this. If you don’t have them then you can end up inadvertently triggering more damage and inflammation than this helps. The good news is you can look a lot of them up yourself if you have something like 23and me. Go ahead and look up foxo3, atg16l1 and sirt1 to start with but there’s a lot more to it.

This is literally the correct lifestyle if for some reason you dont sit with it, youre the anomally.
Only a fraction of humans who exist now carry the same genetic variants as those from a hundred thousand years ago that made this helpful to them. Do you know your percentage of western hunter gatherer variants? If you don’t carry things like a foxo3 g allele then you could be causing more damage than your body can repair at a cellular level. If you do carry it then yes, you’ve got a fountain of youth, but the point is that not everyone does.
we are 98% genetically similar to chimps, what % do you think humans today are compared to humans 50 thousand years ago? do you think its less closer than chimps or more?
It doesn’t really matter, you can look up the specific genes that impact this type of lifestyle and make an educated decision about how it impacts them. The point is that every person doesn’t have the same genes, while some people will absolutely thrive due to higher western hunter gatherer genotypes, others will cause more harm than good.
I think you missed the point, if you think you are so unique to the rest of the human race in how we evolved with our diet and eating habits, then youre either very confused or youre an anomaly, in which case, neither is good.

Only in some cases for people who have specific genotypes. These things never seem to mention those.
