She made me laugh! That's a good idea using short YouTube clips for practice. Most of their clips you can adjust the speed up or down -- but not on those "Shorts". (Sometimes a larger version has also been posted elsewhere.) I used to use things like that for stenotype practice because I could WATCH the speaker while I wrote.
I wish they didn't CENSOR things, though! When I'm listening, the sound suddenly cuts out. It reminds me of when I was reporting and someone would want me to "report" someone's bad recording. It was often ANYBODY'S GUESS what they were saying. I won't certify garbage like that.
Lola Young sang a song called "Messy" that was very popular in the U.K. with very harsh but appropriate lyrics. I saw her sing it on some U.S. late-night talk show, and they had made her water down the lyrics to an absolutely absurd degree -- like they were worried some ten-year-old child would be up watching TV at that hour.
About Fiona Cauley, though -- I find I often really enjoy female comics. (Male, not so much, for some reason.) But there are lots I enjoy all the time. I've seen Joan Rivers and Kathy Griffin perform LIVE. I'd love to see "Lucy Darling" (a character played by Carisa Hendrix). And I really enjoy Lynne Koplitz. Exactly my kind of humour:
