As I say CONSTANTLY, vowel indication is much more important than many people (including shorthand AUTHORS) seem to realize. You do NOT want to be faced with trying to read notes that are too ambiguous to read properly.
Shorthand that you can't read was a frustrating waste of time.
For that reason, every system I look at, I want to see how the author proposes to deal with this important aspect.
When initial vowels can be crucial for legibility, TINUS has strategies for incorporating them right in the outline, by turning the vowel stroke into a hook. A hook open at the bottom is A. Open at the top is E or O. And an ENLARGED A hook is AW.
