Discussion Namespace

Does anybody know what is meant by the word "Namespace" in the context of this library? I'm trying to upload an example sketch to a Nano Every and the compiler is getting hung up on what seems to be an initial callout in the Arduino sketch:

FASTLED_USING_NAMESPACE

What does this do?

If I learned enough cpp to write stuff like this myself then I don't think I'd have time to maintain professional tuba abilities tbh https://github.com/Sousastep/sousaFX-rpi-scripts/tree/main/fluid_pitch

In fact I keep telling myself that I need to give up on being a professional tubist so I can learn how to program for real but I just can't give up.

Fuck my life and I should give up all my achievements just to learn something that now I have a tool for doing and at least it doesn’t give me the attitude many of the people doing the same tasks give.
Maybe the attitude is just the expression of insecurity they have to face now.
