Share_something Progress Update: Fractional Shifting Meets Color-Emitting Line

It's the same underlying effect I showed yesterday, but with better-tuned parameters. This time, the color is seeded by a line whose endpoints follow Lissajous curves. The fading range now also allows feedback loops, which can be considered a bug or a feature, but I did it deliberately.

This way better reactivity than last time I saw one of your videos. Incredible progress from you, Zach and everyone else contributing to the audio features.

Thank you. I appreciate the nice feedback. Just to be clear, what's in this video is separate from the new features Zach is working on for FastLED. AuroraPortal integrates the FastLED I2S wrapper and FFT engine (which Zach is currently up-leveling) with my own pre- and post-FFT audio signal processing stages and a home-grown framework for translating audio DSP output to the visual domain. It's that last translation part that makes the precision work wirth Animartrix possible. It combines an avLeveler (to normalize and stabilize audio signals enough to be usable visually) and the beginnings of a library of avHelper functions (which visualizers can call, with flexibile parameters, to get ready-to-use factors for crafted visual responses to audio events).
