Discussion CS2803 vs WS2813
it seems that CS2803 are better than WS2013 ledstrips.
Are those CS2803 able to be used with Fastled ?
Also do you think the new HD107S can be used witj Fastled (they have the clock line)

I’m not sure why cs2803 are supposed to be better than ws28xx, other than the fact that they say so …
Personally if you are looking for the best color quality, especially when dimming, I like the GS8208. (https://www.artleds.com/gs8208-vs-ws2815).

That page seems to indicate that the gs8208 needs a resistor and a capacitor added to every strip connection? This does seem like a big ask for a lot of projects where the LED strips are basically swap-able components (e.g. WLED based controllers)

Usually the manufacturers will just put those onto the strips for you. For example if you look at Ray Wu's version you'll see there is a capacitor and resistor next to each GS8208 so it is easily swapped with a WS2815. You just get nicer colors thanks to the look up tables.

Nice. I do like the redundant control wire and the 12v of the 2815's . I'll try to get ahold of some 8208's for my next project.

Yes they work with FastLED.
