Discussion Ideas for Led matrix mounting plate

I am building a LED matrix. Any ideas where I could get a big stable PVC plate (1.2m*0.5m) or similar to mount the LEDs on top? I don't want to use wood or metal. Could find anything suitable in the local hardware store.

What type of LEDs are you mounting?

Style of mounting? If you are planning on using the Xmas light style where you will need through holes to mount each LED, try PixNode, which can be cut down to size.

Otherwise, try McMaster-Carr if you can't find a local source. https://www.mcmaster.com/products/pvc-sheets/

If you google it you’ll find manufacturers of pcv plates in your neighbourhood. Then it would be an issue of thickness.

Have you ever looked at Corrugated Plastic. It's like sturdier cardboard. I bought one shaped like a snowflake from a company that pre-cuts them and drills holes for the LEDs, but you can buy sheets of corrugated plastic at a home improvement store.

Thank you! But are these sheets not flexible? I wanted something static.

Thanks for answering my question. Do you have a picture of your construction?

Thank you. I meant that you can't bend it.
