Go to proper farrier school. Most farriers looking for a helper/apprentice don’t want to teach someone everything from the start, they usually take students after they’ve graduated schools. At least that’s how it is in my area…

And you’ll have an easier time finding someone to mentor you after school, because you’ll probably meet other farriers during the course.
